Community Voices
Your experiences with food are part of the story.
Food is part of everyday life, and our experiences with it are shaped by family, culture, community, grocery costs, access, changing responsibilities, and the information we encounter along the way.
Community Voices creates space for people to share those experiences in their own words.
We’re currently looking for people interested in recording short videos about their experiences and perspectives.
You might share:
Something you’ve learned or wondered about food labels or food information
What grocery shopping looks like in your life or household
How grocery costs or access have shaped your experiences
Something your family or culture taught you about food
How becoming a parent, caregiver, or living on your own changed things
Something about food or grocery shopping you wish more people understood
No nutrition background or expertise is needed. You choose what you’re comfortable sharing, and videos can be recorded using your own phone or camera.
Prefer writing? You can also let us know if you’d rather share your experience as a written story.
Interested in sharing your story?
Start with our short interest form. We’ll ask what you might like to talk about and whether you prefer video or writing.
If selected to participate, you’ll receive reflection prompts, simple recording or submission instructions, and information about how your story may be shared.
